Nickolas

Nickolas came to KIDS Orthopedic & Chest Care with pectus excavatum that caused concern for both him and his family. After careful evaluation, he underwent a minimally invasive Nuss procedure with cryoablation performed by Dr. Abdullah. Just hours after surgery, he was already feeling well, and by the next day his pain had significantly decreased. He was walking, doing physical therapy, and his lungs were nearly fully expanded on imaging.

Within a week, Nickolas noticed easier breathing and minimal discomfort. By one month, he was off pain medication and eager to return to sports. At two months, he was back to basketball, push-ups, and full activity, feeling stronger and more confident than ever.
